1. What’s the difference between Indica and Sativa?
Indica and Sativa are the most well-known strains of the cannabis plant however they both greatly differ in terms of the kind of high a person experiences post- consumption. While Sativa may make one feel more energetic and uplifted, Indica would deeply relax a person resulting in a “couch lock”.
Due to such contrasting effects of the two strains, they are used in treating very different medical conditions. To target even more specific illnesses, both these strains are mixed to create a range of hybrid strains.

2. What are Cannabinoids- CBD & THC?
The flowers of the cannabis plant secrete chemical compounds called Cannabinoids. These cannabinoids bind themselves to various receptors in the brain with different resultant effects, including several medical benefits.
The most commonly used cannabinoids are THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) and CBD (Cannabidiol). CBD is known to provide relief in medical conditions like Arthiritis, Cancer, Epilepsy, Crohn’s Disease and PSTD due to its calming effect. On the other hand, THC is highly psychoactive and is used in treating conditions like pain, nausea and stress-related disorders, in addition to being a strong sleep inducer. However, due to THC’s highly psychoactive nature, CBD is a preferred personal choice of a lot of patients and is favored in treating children.

3. Why would I need medical marijuana?
The regulated legalization of marijuana was done to make it accessible to patients who need it. Marijuana is known to help treating several medical conditions like Epilepsy, Crohn’s Disease, Colitis, Cancer, Glaucoma, Arthritis, ADHD and Post- traumatic stress disorder. Furthermore, you can benefit from the anti-inflammatory, sleep inducing, appetite stimulating and analgesic properties of weed.

4.  How do I get a prescription/medical card for medical marijuana?

5.  Are all product images real?
Yes. All images on our website are actual product images.

6. How do I send an Interac E-transfer?
If you use online banking with a Canadian bank/credit union, then sending an Interac E-transfer takes just a couple of minutes.
Google is a great tool and if you search “your bank name” + Interac E-transfer in Google.ca, you should easily find instructions on how to send a transfer with your financial institution.

7. What happens if I don’t get my package?
If you have not received your order 48 hours after the estimated time of arrival, contact us immediately at support@purereleaf.store. We will conduct an investigation and take the necessary steps to ensure your package arrives at you safely.

8. My tracking number does not work. Help!
Typically, I the tracking number does not work it could be 2 likely circumstances;
1. The Canada post website has not yet updated their system to include your tracking number. Please allow till the end of the day.
2. Please ensure the tracking number is typed in correctly

9.What are your working hours?
We are in the shop and answering emails 6 days a week from 9:30 am PST through 5 pm PST.

10.When will my order ship?
All orders and payment received by 12pm PST will be shipped the next business day. If we receive your order after 12pm PST, your order will be shipped the following business day.
Please note Canada post does not operate on weekends or holidays.
*Please note that it can take up to 40 minutes for us to receive your E-transfer.

11. Can I cancel, edit or add to my order?
If you want to edit or add to your order, you need to create a new order with us. We will the cancel the old order. Email us at support@purereleaf.store with your order number that you want cancelled. This will be cancelled or edited if it hasn’t been shipped out yet.

11. How does the Rewards & Points system work?
For every $1 that you spend at the store (excluding shipping), you earn a point. For every 20 points you earn, you receive a discount worth $1 on your future order at the store. Also, when you first review a product you earn 10 points. All the points will be recieved once the payment is received for the order and one can check them in their account or in their cart.
